SRAM X-7 + Shimano shifter

SRAM X-7 Rear derailleur vs Shimano ST-EF60 8Spd compatability mod (Ghetto way).

Dissassembling (small jumping parts - be carefull):

2 Screws on top.

Ugly hotglue on shifter display - yet unfinished LED lightning project :)

Shifter indicator display. 1 Screw.

From bottom of the shifter 1 Screw. 1 Nut + ContraNut. Warning Disintegrating parts (It is better to take Shifter off first, i'm too lazy)!

Be carefull red spiral type part (indicator) may be stolen by your cat and lost :(

Take out shifter lever. 1 Contra, 1 Bolt.

Remove wire and take out pink part.

Keep dissassembled parts in order! (Most bottom part not from the Shifter it is a magnet which has attached small small Lever's Contra )

Sorry for poor quality - it's phone camera...

You should see here groove where wire rests, we need to put epoxy there and form a new groove.

Don't forget to put toothpick into wirehole before putting epoxy!

Assemble all parts backwards, and adjust your derailleur. That's it.
